Two lucky participants in the ‘Swayamvara’ Kannada film contest – Sushil and Shwetha in the Red FM 93.5 contest dined with stars of the film Diganth and Sharmila Mandre and received the gold ring. On 15th March at Jalsa-Marathahalli in Bangalore the lucky winners took part on the invitation from Red FM. ‘Swayamvara’ remake of Hindi film ‘Mujse Shadhi Karoge’ starring Srinagara Kitty, Sharmila Mandre and Diganth in the lead roles is directed by Anantharaju. Manikanth Khadri has scored the music.

This is a first of its kind initiative by a radio channel for finding perfect match for the actors through Swayamwara on air. On air reality show which started on 10th February saw over 1000 registrations wanting to date the actors for one day.

On ground daring fun games were conducted for the short listed contestants; both male and female like body waxing, collecting money for their job, dancing in the middle of the streets, cleaning vehicles in traffic etc at various spots across Bangalore.

The actors also visited the Red Fm office in Bangalore and shared their likes and dislikes, about their life, how they want their prospective groom and bride to be like etc in a chat show with RJ Manish. They also joined the RJ in wishing good luck to the participants on air during the contests.
